What does the real mean of being
a Christian? Christianity is not just a religion. Christianity is a life with
Jesus as the center. Being a Christian means that we want to follow Jesus. So,
we must live in Him and live as Jesus did ( 1 John 2:6) Because we are created
in the image and likeness of God (Gen 1:27) So He will give us authority to do
all of it, and the more we know about Jesus, our live will become a lot more
like him.
When we receive Christ as our
God and saviour, we will receive salvation. Salvation is eternal life with
Father in Heaven after death ( John 3;36), and not only that, salvation also
means living in the world to enjoy the promises of God . There are about 36,000
promises that He wanted us to enjoy. The
promises are healing, protection, blessings, etc, that can not be given by
other people.
By receiving salvation, it means
that we become a part of the Kingdom of God. Sin makes human not worthy to have
relation with Father in Heaven, but Jesus’ sacrifices, when he came to the
world and became a human, left his throne next to the Father in heaven, became
same with human, being insulted, betrayed, reviled, and being crucified,
everything he done for us, so we are worthy , and our sins are not only being
forgiven but also He gave us super special rights to be the part of Kingdom of
Heaven and even have personal relation with Jesus as His child.
So by receiving salvation is really just because the grace of God to us.
There are nobody that could sacrifice their self as what Jesus did. We would
never get salvation without his grace (Eph 2:8) Because of God’s love of this
world (John 3:16) so, we were unworthy before, become worthy in his presence
